Ross King is Forth One's man in LA and also the Entertainment Anchor for the number 1 TV news show in LA, KTLA’s News at Ten.  We have an exclusive deal with KTLA to share Ross’s big name interviews the first of which were George Clooney and Bruce Willis.

In the exclusive George Clooney interview, George told Ross of the influence of his father on his career and how important it was to get his role in the film “Good Night and Good Luck” right as it was a tribute to him. Ross asked the question “How good is it to wake up every morning and be George Clooney?” to which the response was “It’s a fun time, George is enjoying life taking work seriously and remembering to have a good time”.  Oscar nominations were, of course, discussed and the person George Clooney wants to beat is Ang Lee, who directed Brokeback Mountain.

Ross King started on Radio Clyde at the young age of 15 and made his first television debut 2 years later.  After a few years of presenting a variety of shows on Radio Clyde, Ross headed to London for Television and Theatre fame.  Ross presented nearly thirty television series for the BBC, SKY and ITV including “The 8:15 from Manchester” and a 5 year run hosting “Pebble Mill”.  After London he moved to Los Angeles and has starred in many films.  In December 2004 Ross joined KTLA’s News at 10 after beating hundreds of candidates in “The Audition” to become the stations new Weather Presenter.  His success and popularity at this position lead to him becoming the Entertainment Anchor on the number 1 news show in LA.

What is Your Best Blag?

Getting a gift bag worth $30,000 after hosting the Hollywood Christmas Parade...and yes I did share it with all my friends and family over Christmas.

If you won the lottery what would you do with the cash?

I'd give most of it to the real stars in the world Doctors and Nurses and then take the rest around do my best to help homeless people.

If you could be any musician or artist in the world who would you be and why?

Beyonce..the I could stay at home with myself !

Who’s back catalogue would you like to own?

Easy..The Beatles !

What was the best present you ever got?

The gift of having the most wonderful parents in the world and the best sister too.

How do you like to spend a Sunday afternoon?

Soaking in the bath after having played football in the morning.

If you had a personalised number plate what would it be?

Still have my old one in the UK...RTB ( ross the boss..ahhh)

If you were a cartoon character which one would you be and why?

Scooby Doo..zoikes,Scooby snacks and all that !

You’ve got a whole day to yourself, what would you get up to?

Stay in bed till I wake up (I rarely get that chance), have a huge breakfast sausages,bacon, scrambled eggs and all that good stuff.Go for along walk in the hills behind my home and then come home and watch movies till I fall asleep again.

What were some things you and your friends did for fun as a child?

We would build ramps at the local shopping centre car park and then go mad on our bikes.

What was something you did that was really scary?

Bungee Jump in New Zealand , followed by white water rafting and then a jet boat all in one afternoon !.

What was the first film you saw at the cinema?

Debbie does Dallas.

What was your favourite subject at school?

PE and English.

When did you first learn to drive? What kind of car did you have?

When I was 16 ..sneakily on an Industrial Estate. Ford Cortina.

What is the loveliest thing you've ever seen?

My sister giving birth to my niece Hollie and my nephew Euan.

What is your ideal date?

Sandra Bullock.

What is your favourite time of year?

Christmas.

What are some of your favourite things to do now?

Play football on a Sunday morning, go the theatre and the cinema and a fun karaoke night with my pals.

What do you like about your life today?

I love everything about my life..too blessed to be stressed.

Who is your favourite celebrity?

George Clooney.

If you could re-experience one thing in your life, what would it be?

My first show...and do it better.
